1. Power on the printer and the computer if they are not powered on already.
2. Connect the printer to the computer using USB, Ethernet or Wireless connection.
3. Open the printer’s control panel, and then select “Setup”.
4. From the “Setup” menu, select “Printer Language” or “Communication Settings” and then choose “HP PCL 6” or “HP PCL 5”.
5. Select “Driver Settings”, and then select “Mode Setting”.
6. Select the desired mode from the list and then click “OK” to apply the changes.
